W stayed in this hotel for 3 nights in February. It is a nice, modern hotel. The room and bathroom was lovely. The beds were really comfortable and the room very clean. We stayed there for a long weekend.The price is a very good value. It is a bit away from the centre of Porto, but not that far, about a 15 minute walk. There are a number of cafes and small shops around the hotel, and it is in the galleries area. We arrived by airplane and it was a 20 min ride from Porto airport. The staff in the hotel were very friendly and helpful, particularly the reception desk staff who had plenty of info about Porto. The hotel advertises a restaurant and bar, however, this is not really the case. Room service food can be eaten in the bar area. And in order to get a drink from the bar you have to ask at the reception and they will call for service for you. This is a bit annoying if you want to have more than one drink, and it is a pity as the bar area and the patio area ajoining it are lovely and would be a really nice place to sit and have a few drinks. The restaurant is the breakfast room, and no other meals are served there, so don't expect to be able to have a full dinner in the hotel. The buffett breakfast was really good, with a good selection of food. There is free internet access in the lobby which is a bonus. Overall we enjoyed our stay here.
